Description
These full-day workshops are aimed at helping workforce professionals and service providers develop a clear vision of the apprenticeship model they want to launch in their community. Throughout the workshop, the participants will develop a logic model to identify the inputs (including funding resources, employer, education partner, targeted population, occupation-aligned curriculum, and community partners for population appropriate-supports) and activities that will lead to the short and long-term outcomes that are articulated in their vision statement towards supporting more diverse and equitable apprenticeship models.
After the workshop the attendees will gain new skills such as:
- Attendees will leave the workshop with a clear vision for the apprenticeship model that they plan to launch in their community
- Attendees will demonstrate comprehension of their agency’s value proposition by creating and delivering an elevator pitch
- Develop an action plan that prepares them to pilot their apprenticeship models
