Financial Coaching for People with Disabilities

Job seekers with disabilities often struggle with multiple barriers to finding employment and financial well-being. Through this training, learn to find the appropriate mix of financial coaching, education, and case management to cater to the opportunities and challenges for people with disabilities.

After attending this training, you will be able to:

• Navigate the disability landscape in Chicagoland through the lens of financial coaching
• Connect participants with disabilities to appropriate resources
• Identify common targeted scams and ways to evade them
• Advocate for your participants with disabilities by educating them on their financial rights

This training is offered by Heartland Human Care Services, with funding provided by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The $25 member/non-member price covers the cost of food.
